I guess it’s love!
I love paper! I have so much paper at home that I could open a papershop ;)

When I buy paper it is mainly about the colour, on second place the texture – the way the paper feels when you touches it with your hand. Paper is definately my material. It doesn’t have to be fancy, cheap paper is often more alive and sensitive.

Often paper and journals just stays as they are when I buy them, unused. It’s hard to use it if you like it too much. Maybe that’s another reason why I like cheap paper.

Some paperlinks that pops up in my mind

lovely papers Camilla! I’m the other way around though – I adore using a beautiful journal, but I know what you mean with them being left unused. I sometimes approach it with the greatest care so as not to ruin it but to make it even more special. A very special coffee table book.

I want your drawers! My husband can’t understand my magpie trait when it comes to craft materials, particularly paper (have to remind him about the thousands of dollars worth of fishing equipment that HE’s accumulated over the years). Chris Natrop’s (link to ) ‘pink orblivion’ is absolutely beautiful. So excited about this site. Well done to all of you! Will visit regularly.

I did my thesis in papercraft (papier mache mostly), and loved being able to chalk my magpie paper buying off to “research”. I understand about the beauty and power of the paper itself; and that drawers of colours, like you have, are works unto themselves.

I love paper too! Where did you get that beautiful file cabinet to store all your paper flat?

I think architects uses drawers like this, and advertising agencies. It is great, swollows a lot of paper.
A paper-swap is a great idea!

I love the photos. I covet your flat file and all that gorgeous paper. I adore paper too, but I CANNOT use beautiful paper to wrap gifts in. It simply breaks my heart to think of the paper being ripped and discarded. Instead I use butcher or plain brown or tissue paper, and decorate it with a pretty ribbon. I keep the colorful, handmade, and otherwise beautifully designed paper for art projects.
