Those are lovely, especially the pine tree ornament. I printed some cards with my Gocco printer as holiday gifts using photos I took of tree silhouettes in the fields around my house. The branches look likee filligree.

I’m just curious as to how the entry (and the comments) is dated 14 Feb 06, when today is only the 13th? Did you somehow travel forward in time to get those pictures? That would explain everything!

camilla, totally agreed! but some of us, like you, have the eye, hands & heart to make art in such a pure way.

Yes, I agree with you. Inspiration really is everywhere. Indoors, outdoors, everything we look at has something if we look carefully. It is an amazing world once you’ve noticed that it is there for you. Very nice photos by the way!

This weekend I was at the 52nd annual boat show in St. Louis, and one of the exhibitors was a reptilian society (can’t remember how to spell the proper word), anyway, while holding one of the snakes I commented, this snake would make a beautiful sweater. Completely meaning that the colors of the snake, and not the snake skin itself, would make a beautiful sweater. The people looked at me oddly and quickly took the snake back.
But I have that snake in mind for a beautiful sweater one day.
