I like the use of materials and textures. I make jewellery too! Take a look if you feel so inclined. Or better still someone blog about it! I was disappointed only to see two posts in the “jewellery” category; is “handcraft” more fabricy in general?

Nice site: like the community spirit.

fate is strange, i was doing a post for my blog about tiny jewellery and Grainne was top of the list as my favourite jeweller ( I gave up jewellery after seeing her degree show, it was a similar style but so so much better),

My blog entry was meant to be posted yesterday but we had a powercut! I lost my entire post and to console myself I, naturally, turned to Whip Up for some visual consolation, and there was the image of my all time most desired piece of her work that I was about to post! How fab.

feli,
if you have access to an asian bookstore, check the zakka books. they have a lot of nice ideas for linen projects. simple and elegant. (not a whipup girl, just a reader)

That first image of the brooch blows my mind! The little compartments that incase each object...driving me crazy. I love the detailed work. Thanks gals. Love your site, by the way...ALL OF IT!
