knitty 2007 calendar competition
Get snapping peeps.
We’re looking for the best, most enticing, amusing and well-shot photographs of items knit from Knitty patterns. We’ll select the 12 best and publish them in our second calendar, this fall, for 2007. And the best of those 12 will go on the cover and get some seriously fabulous knitworthy stuff!

I love Knitty . I love the spirit in which the calendar is published . BUT check out the fine print on the submissions page, you have to sign over all rights to your image to them, including future usages (beyond the calendar). Although the friendly note above indicates its just for the calendar, this is the binding legal-ese. Not nice! so, beware.

Actually, that’s the complete opposite of what the legal’s supposed to mean. The images are used ONLY on the calendar, nothing else, ever, period. Forever. I was trying to make that clear in the legal so people wouldn’t think they might see their image on a mug or shirt one day. [Not from me, anyway!]
If you can suggest a way to make my [I hope appropriate] intended usage clear, I would love to hear it!
[This is what comes of being your own lawyer. And I'm serious - I'd love to have any suggestions of how to improve the wording. I WILL NOT use the images for anything but the calendar. Period.]
