Current obsession is letterpress and screenprinting processes.
I was recently introduced to a screen printed gig posters site and have seen first hand some of the work. It’s excellent, tactile paper stock and lots of lovely ink. Great prices for original handprinted posters.
Bringing me on to lovely letterpress. I think that’s what it should be called, Lovely Letterpress. There’s something very satisfying about the way letterpress sits on paper, or more like sits IN paper. The romantic in me wishes for a letterpress machine.

That is so beautiful in its simplicity. The delicate shapes and the combination of brown and turquoise is gorgeous.
There is an amazing artist here in Memphis that is doing some great things with screenprinting, posters, etc. You should check him out The New Year.
Also I wanted to say how much I enjoy this blog, and all of the helpful tips and information. Thanks!
Beautiful poster. Thanks so much for mentioning cake+pie!
Love the screen printing and Iron & Wine ;)

Fantastic sites — thanks! No matter how hard I look around, there’s always more out there. Unfortunately buying letterpress equipment in Australia is quite difficult. The presses are out there, but in nowhere near the quantity — or quality — of the US or UK. And when you do find type, it’s old and worn, because we don’t have any active foundries anymore. It’s such a shame. I’ve been cobbling bits of equipment together for years, but my resources are nothing on what I see at these sites! I get a bad case of type envy (sorry, bad pun).
Thanks everyone for the suggestions, keep them coming!
This is a good one:

I’ve got a few of their prints, very good quality and very interesting.
