I too am interested in clothes pegs, but from an Engineering point of view. I am fascinated by the lengths people have gone to beat the original and subsequent patents.

My friends think I am a bit peculiar ... and call me a peg maniac because I obviously suffer from peglomania.

Have a look at my blog for a few stories, photos and a smidgeon of history.

i have always been smitten with clothes pegs. when we visit my husband's family each year in germany i always buy an antique one or three for my collection. i don't collect anything else, but love love love those pegs. i just keep them in use mostly on bags and the line and the more fragile ones in a small wooden bowl.

I use them on the clothesline! (well, actually, a fence...)
I love that this yet another small daily item that can be handmade. We are so lacking in general, in (US) culture, when it comes to the handmade.
