I love this - I saw it at MAKE - is from Renga arts, they represent artists and sell functional art made of reclaimed, salvaged, and recycled materials.

Now if, like me, you do not happen to live near this store but really want a bag like this, you could try a messenger bag from duct tape, or reclaimed vinyl - as seen on MAKE. Try a bag made from seatbelts, recycle some old album covers into a funky bag, of course you could knit yourself a bag using old plastic shopping bags.
