Um, the workmanship might be amazing, but I can’t be the only one who thinks it looks like a hat of giant boils. Yuck.

That hat is awsome!! For all of those who think it looks strange, it’s from a video game.

Yes, as Robin says, it’s made from the designs in a very popular Japanese video. I guess you’d need to have some background in the game.
Personally, I think that hat is the bees knees. It’s the most stylish katamari hat I’ve ever seen. And hey, folks… haven’t you ever purchased yarn that was different than the yarn in a pattern? You don’t like the boils, switch to green or blue or anything you like.

As a big fan of Katamari - I love it. And if you haven’t checked out the game, it is amazing! Ever so creative. Any game that has a “Whale Bird” (that’s right, a whale flying through the sky with wings) will recieve a 10 in my book.
And your hat is very well done.
