I love these creatures and started making one of my own yesterday, but boy it takes ages with all the slipstitches… I think I might do it with normal ones next time ;) but they are incredibly cute =)

I made one of your critters using the pattern from the Happy Hooker crochet book. I did have to modify it and used the single crochet. I messed up a bit here and there and did alot of ribbeting…ended up with LONG legs and high pants. hahahaha….. He turned out SOOOOO cute. I named him Reginald….don’t know why but it seemed to ‘fit’ him. My daughter wants me to make her one next….thought I’d make her a horse! thanks for sharing!!!!!!!!!!

Just FYI…there is also a pattern in the Happy Hooker by Debbie Stoller (eek! am i not supposed to plug another book? – sorry!). I have on many occasions tried to buy one from her but they are always sold out!
