Lots of excellent entries – there were a few entries that were things that were obviously for sale and were entered as a promo – so while these were great items they unfortunately cannot be considered for a prize, and same goes for entries that were made a while ago and not made in the month of October.

Hi all,
When I applied I didn’t realize that one of the prerequisites for submission were that designs weren’t supposed to be for sale. My felted stargazer lily was made as a custom order. I just want to be clear and let everyone know that my intention wasn’t to use this space for promotional reasons, but to simply submit a design I was, and am, proud of. Thanks for the opportunity. I’ll be more mindful of the rules for future submissions.

Congratulations to all this month’s winners! I can’t wait to see what November’s theme will be…
yeah, i didn’t realize that the submission had to be constructed during the month of october- didn’t see that in the rules anywhere. mine was made sept. 27th – bummer.
the item needs to be made within the month – as a reaction to the theme – same goes for items for sale – i thought this was pretty self explanatory given the whiplash definition –
“sudden involuntary forced movement in any direction, and the resultant rebound in the opposite direction” = make something quick as a reaction to something inspirational you have seen.
