recycled plastic Jewellery

Aussie girl Liana, has some fabulous unique jewellery that is fun and funky. Check it out (via craftapalooza). Transforming domestic items like tupperware, cutlery and knitting needles into functional wearables, great colours. Love it!

Oh, I’m all for recycling, and I’m not terribly into plastic knitting needles… but as a die-hard knitter, this seems almost sacrilege!

  3. Diane Says:

Unless of course the cat has chewed the end of the mate and this one is all by itself and useless. I have lots of those. I love this idea

haha - isn’t it great the extremes of opinion?

Thanks for the mention!! To those concerned about the misuse of knitting needles: as a colleague of Liana, I do have to say that in the hot humid city where we live, there is not much need for knitted clothing. Instead we have a surplus glut of old knitting needles from all the southerners who have retired here which Liana is concientiously working her way thru!
