this would be a great project for the scraps of scrap yarn. those little bits you can’t even make a hat with, the tiny tails you cut off of scrap-buster projects. I’d like to see a whole tree done like that. Where do you get empty clear ornaments for cheap?

Now how gorgeous are they!!! Every jumper or scarf or whatever that was made could have the scraps made into a bauble – I love that idea!! I just dont knit much!!

They are fast and fun! I made about 60 of them in just a few hours!

Inspired by this and the original (http://fortheloveoffiber.typepad.com/for_the_love_of_fiber/2006/11/tnk_and_the_win.html), I made a different version:

White, lushious yarn would be fabulous too.

Lovely! I’ve seen this done by cross-stitchers – you save the orts (ort = small leftover piece of embroidery floss) from a project, then put them in one of these ornaments – you end up with a christmas ornament which has the same colour scheme as something you stitched during the year.
