A letter from Marie, who would like to introduce her new blog and tutorials.
Hi Kathreen -
I’m a regular reader and subscriber to your Whiplash blog and enjoy it. I’ve been an avid sewer since high school and I ventured into the quilting world when I got married. I enjoy reading the profiles in your blog and love the spirit of sharing new projects, ideas, and tips from designers and everyday people.
I wanted to share with you my new website and blog. I’m currently offering a free class on the color wheel and I have a “Top Ten Myths About Quilters Using the Color Wheel” page that takes the intimidation factor out of using the color wheel.
A letter from Maria:
I just wanted to send a thank you for mentioning my fabric dyeing blog on Whipup. It was quite exciting to see it mentioned there (I love learning about new craft/art sites from yours) and it sent a lot of visitors to the blog. If just a few of them start dyeing fabric, the world will be an even more colourful and beautiful place. :)

I’m so happy to have stumbled across your site. I have been sewing like a banchee for a longtime. My blog is focused on vintage fabric toys I make and clothes for babies from vintage fabrics, also my online journal. Hope you like it, I’ll be updating it every two weeks.

Hi Kathreen, I’ve been a Whip Up subscriber for the last couple of months, and just absolutely love the ideas you post about, and the reviews you do of various craft books. WhipLash is a great feature too - it’s so fun to see different creative takes on a theme. I just wanted to introduce my own craft blog, in the spirit of this post, at http://fortytworoads.blogspot.com. It’s basically a way for me to share the various (really, quite wide-ranging) crafting that I do on an almost daily basis. Hope you like it!
