… the “purlbees” just post the most wonderful array of pictures … tutorials … materials … and “things” to make … purl and purl patchwork are lovely retreats into fiber and fabric wonderlands!!! … just wish you could visit there too kath’ … happy days … and the most happy and wonderful whipped up new year … here’s to 2007 whipping up!!!

I made a set of 12 napkins recently and it was even easier. I used a lovely pastel plaid (woven not printed).
I ripped and cut the fabric into squares (18×18 because I like big napkins!).
Then I sewed a seamline about 1/2 inch from the edge, pivoting at the corners.
Then I used a pin to pick out the threads on the edge so the napkins are fringed.
