Photojojo has a bunch of ideas for using photos – and with digital cameras, it’s easy to take lots! Their weekly newsletter just highlighted this project from Martha Stewart: using vellum paper and photo frames to create illuminated photos.

I tried this but had a lot of trouble printing the pics…they just came out very blurry on the vellum. If anyone has success I’d love to hear how you did it!

I’m currently in the process of making a lot of these for a wedding. I edited the photos in Picasa to make them 4×6. When the coloring/facial features were a little too light, i remedied this by using Picasa to increase the shadow on the picture.
So far its turned out pretty well!
