    oh I remember “the Talk” at school. It was 1980 and the oldest female teacher on staff got together the Year 8 girls (12/13years old) to give them “the Talk” she produced this belt thing and none of us had any idea what she was talking about! most of the girls were using tampons (or disposible adhesive pads at the very least) and were dumbstruck by this old fashioned thing. I wonder what the teacher made of our shocked expressions? :-)
