wow, that’s a great site. This is definitely a project that my kids and I could do together.

those are great paper beads. I’ve made them before and used as a necklace. Also made them with wire and mini beads wrapped arond the bead. Really fun and many variations!!! Thanks for reminding me about paper bead love!

If you’d like to see just how lovely jewelry made from paper beads can be, check out Beads for Life. The beaders are Ugandan women who are either war refugees or who are living with Aids/HIV. The jewelry is beautiful, as are the craftswomen who make them.

OMG - I made these when I was a little girl (30 yrs ago) with my crafty aunt! They were so much fun!
