I really enjoyed the book The Crafter’s Companion, so many great projects. So I was really glad to see a finished project from the book at the knitting box – the library bag. Are there any more finished projects from this book out there?
Could this be the beginning of a craft-along?

Thanks for linking me! :) I love the book, it has lots of great projects and the instructions are clear. I highly recommend it.
I haven’t been able to find this in Australia yet – apparently it’s out in February. I’ll put my name down at the local bookstore, I think – this book looks to fabulous to pass up.
I picked up mine on Amazon UK for the equivalent of about $16AUS – don’t know if its still that cheap but worth a try – the book is excellent!
The very first thing I ever sewed was from this book! See http://creatingfromscratch.typepad.com/blog/2006/11/seeing_spots.html
I have challenged myself to make every project in this book, here´s the first one:http://chestofdrawers.blogspot.com/2007/01/inspiration-crafters-companion.html
Ah, man! Claudia, you beat me to the punch. I, too, am planning on making all of the projects from the book. Here is my first one, Hillary’s pillowcase apron: http://thefeltmouse.blogspot.com/2007/01/crafters-companion-1.html
