I think homemade notebooks are my favourite. Don’t get me wrong, there are some lovely ones that you can buy but I find that they always take ages to feel like they belong to you. If you’ve made it yourself or if someone’s made it for you, it’s already yours.
Me, I fall into the “someone made it for me” camp. My sister’s into comb binding, thermal binding, traditional binding, rubber stamping, iris folding, embossing and who knows what else, so some beautiful gifts often come my way. But as far as doing craft myself goes, I’m pretty useless. Though I’ve written bits of prose and captions for my sister before.
