I am quite impressed by miss america’s “six projects from a duvet.” Not only are the projects nice, but she actually had the stick-to-it-ness to finish them all! Sunshine creations’ jens rug and possible quilt are also fabulous and inspirational — don’t we all have a bunch of worn-out jeans waiting for a project like this. For Reform School, I think Raq3000’s recycled paper bowls are so elegant. Tagurity’s recycled stationary set is nice in it’s simplicity too, and it would be nice to see all that stationery used instead of being thrown away.

i agree with kristin about the papier mache bowls from raq3000 - they are just gorgeous, and i think perfect for reform school. i think marcisenders
had the best of the stationery entries with horrayforjunkmail. for the clothing entries, i think sheet-to-scarf transformation valerie cheel did is the most original and creative.
and one self-involved cheer for the robot girl!

i loved:
bitter betty’s : nice twice with rice purse. it’s a shame that can’t be easily duplicated because i think that would sell well w/reForm school.
mamaurchin’s : frappaccino gift. this is so simple, clean, and martha’esque. i’m sure it was well received.

My favourites are; the double trouble jeans rug and quilt and knittymama’s table (it’s so hard to give a child ‘free rein’ and be laid back about it - fabulous results too!)
I also liked the rice sack bag.
As usual all entries were original and fabulous! Well done everyone!

I think laura’s re:smock is brilliant, and adorable…but then I am a sucker for thrift-store sheets. And what a great idea valerie’s sheet-scarf is. Also love redgedesigns’ plastic bag cuff and maryjane’s tea cozy.

i think the roq3000’s bowls are amazing and should win the reform school prize. i also really like the junk mail stationery - excellent collages. the sheet-to-scarf is my favorite clothing piece.
and a self-involved yay for robot girl!

These are all so great to look at…. I am getting so many ideas… so many possibilities. I think that my absolute favorite is six projects from a duvet::miss america because- well can you beat 6 cute things from one duvet with left over to spare. I think not.
The one I am most eager to try are the papier mache bowls::raq3000. It looks like so much fun… and they are so beautiful.

My favorite was by nydampress : paper making. It looks like she followed this contest down to the T. She even used a discarded blender! The horseshoe crab was beautiful.

I’d have to go with the whimsical Scrappy Bookbag by True Stitches. Also liked the Bone Wall Hanging for strangest materials.

My favorite is the beautiful purse made from the burlap rice bag. Beautiful! And such a great picture of it too.

I like the Unicorn of Spring and the Scrappy Bookbag. And the Bone wallhanging is just too weird, but in a good way.
