squares quilt

using up all those small treasured fabrics, unique and adored pieces, scraps and vintage finds. I love the squares quilt at craftopia and how the white really offsets the other fabrics so beautifully. – the back is gorgeous too.

I love this quilt. Simple designs using treasured fabrics seem to appeal to me the most these days!

I have only just started thinking about making a quilt of my own, but all the paterns that I have seen so far have appeared to be difficult in pattern and assembly. When I saw this one it appeared asthought it would be more simple than any of the others I have veiwed.

plain squares, i always return to the simple square as a design base.
