Devina is looking for 2 patterns. (1) a skirt made from men’s neckties and (2) a skirt made from a pair of pants/jeans.

Thanks!!

refashioning jeans into skirts is very popular, you might try those:

as for the ties – i’d just rip them, sew them together and use a normal skirt pattern, but here on craftster is a thread that might help you better:

hope this helped a little :)
have fun!

for the jeans into a skirt, if the links above don’t help, just search the web. I’ve TONS of these on many different sites (including my own, where I made a pair of bib overalls into a bib skirt, http://cowgirl53.wordpress.com/2006/06/20/how-many-things-can-you-make-from-one-pair-of-overalls/, and the post has a link or two to other blogs/websites.

There is a book on using ties, which of course I don’t remember the name of! but I just did a quick internet search, and it brought lots of links to “how to’s”.
have fun with your project!

I made this tutorial last year and used my skirt a lot during the summer. I have a feeling I’d like to make another one this year so that I have two, but in different colors.
