babette blanket

The in-progress of the crochet babette blanket at adorn mag is wonderful (left image). I also love the colours used in purl bees blanket (right image). Check out more the babette blanket pool and if you want to make one there is a pattern in interweave crochet 2006.

Wow! That’s stunning! It’s very Kaffe Fassett isn’t it? I’m itching to make one now!

Whoa! How amazingly thrilling to open these pages I read every day and see my blanket here.
The blanket is Kaffe-like and Liza-esque.

Kaffe Fassett designed a fabric quilt like this in his book Passionate Patchwork. I just completed it, details on my blog (link above).

[...] I cannot even believe what whipup.net posted two days ago: pictures of and links to crocheted versions of the shirt-stripe quilt. They’re pink and adorable! And someone left a comment about how they looked “very Kaffe Fassett.” It just goes to show you that there really aren’t any new ideas in the world… amazing. [...]

Yes, Lauren, He did. Don’t worry, though, Kaffe said it was okay.
He even gave me advice on it.

Kathy, I have a question regarding a pattern of yours I fell in love with… the Astrid Pullover. I need to make it longer. How do I do that? I’m pretty much an intermediate crocheter.

    Feel free to email me.
