knit what i want
Project by knitting artist Kimberley Elderton.
I decided that I would have to knit everything that I want instead. Obviously the irony is that the things I knit are useless in terms of function. The process also brings up all sorts of issues: independence, self sufficiency, greed, consumerism, patience, appreciation of time, appreciation of skill – and loads more which will hopefully be discussed in the postings as the blog grows. I hope all of you enjoy learning about and contributing to this project.

Hi!
Thank you for writing a post about me – I had no idea I was on so many other blogs as well as my own – it’s very exciting to find out as it means people obviously like my work! Thanks for the support!
Best wishes

You can check out her current project, a knitted PS3 console via her flickr photos and her blog.[ via ] Link. [...]
