blog green is a subversive cross stitcher and has taken the inspiration from subversive cross stitch and run with it. Check out her work of the radical cross stitch posse at this post [via extreme craft].

More radical cross stitching at the flickr pool.

I am sort of addicted to the cross stitch pattern generator … can you tell?

How about spotlighting some non-subversive cross stitch sometime? There’s tons of interesting and beautiful stuff out there, it’s not all flowers and teddy bears as seen at michaels.

I am SO disappointed you published the horrible word on this crosstitch…
I frequent this site almost daily, and my children really enjoy looking at all the projects…in fact, they were just a few feet away when I came here this morning; I am so thankful that they weren’t actually looking at the screen when your site came up…

There is an overabundance of “downright nasty” stuff in our world, online and off. Why be a part of it?

I hope that you remove this item from your site, and that in the future you are more discriminating and positive when it comes to the projects you highlight.

I found this kind of offensive actually. Not what I would expect from whip up…

This is amazingly useless and unbelievable that you would think this would be of interest to any truly creative person. It takes absolutley NO BRAIN to come up with such rubbish. And to think that someone wasted precious time to “create” it. I will be removing this link from my home page.

Here’s another website that will generate a text chart for you in one of six fonts (two cross stitch cursive, two cross stitch print, one backstitch cursive and one backstitch print.)

Whoops… there needs to be an underscore between alphabet and generator.php

I think this is perfect for a 19 yearold that reads a lot. =D
