Dorodango anyone?

www.dorodango.com

I’m categorising this one under “extreme”.

Dorodango – Instructions under “create” and also more at this site.

Hikaru dorodango are balls of mud, molded by hand into perfect spheres, dried, and polished to an unbelievable luster. The process is simple, but the result makes it seem like alchemy.

I made a dorodango for the first time the other day. It was a very satisfying experience. What I found most amazing was that I was could achieve a perfect sphere with just my hands – I guess it’s a long time since I played with mud!
