Congratulations Weeks! I just got the Quilt National 2007 book and was excited to see the quilts. I went to college in Athens and look forward to making the trip every other summer to see the exhibit. Your perspective as an accepted entrant is so interesting. I agree that the book reproductions rarely do justice to the works and am always blown away by a few of them when I actually see them. I look forward to seeing your quilt. Your blog is great!

Wow - they CROPPED your quilt?? Oh yeah - now I'm looking at the page with your quilt again - it runs right off the top edge, doesn't it! MAN! You're certainly taking it much better than I would! I honestly didn't notice that the first few times I read through the book. Without being able to see the exhibition in real life, the books are the only way I see any of Quilt National.
I thought the proportions looked right for a tankini!
