I have loved Kathreen’s “what’s knitting” posts of late (if only because I have trouble keeping up with the zillions of knitting blogs lately), so I asked her if I could do similar posts covering the current sewing and quilting zeitgeist around blogland. Oh my gosh! I mad potholders out of the grey and pink purse (the first picture). This summer, I happened upon the Estate Sale of My Lifetime, where ALL the fabric was free. There was a roomful of mint condition 50′s and 60′s fabrics. After peeing myself and thanking all gods/goddesses available, I hauled out 4 big boxes.
