I love chita and in the UK I could never find anything as colourful and cheap. It's a pity patchwork is such an ellitist thing in this country, back at home (in Brazil) it is still a way to recycle old clothes and sheets, with yo-yos and similar creative techniques! ;-)

I love Brazilian chitas, they are so colourful and cheerful! Chita is also a Portuguese type of fabric; in fact, the Portuguese introduced chitas in Brazil several centuries ago. Portuguese chita is much more discreet but it's very pretty too!
