The piece that stirred my imagination most was LAMENT (unfortunately, I&#039;ve forgotten the artist&#039;s name). This was the object with two huge wings on either side of a harness that had been made from a backpack -- if you looked closely, you could see that the wings had been constructed of gloves and embroidered on the surface.  As it turned out, every component of the piece had been a found object. 

I had been thinking of Daedalus, but it turned out also that the  artist&#039;s father had been a pilot in the Vietnam War, and that the artist himself was a pilot. 

I didn&#039;t take any pictures, and so I&#039;m really grateful to you for your pictures.</description>
