I've always loved cut-paper crafts, but lately have taken to fabric and sewing (aprons!). My favorite kid craft (today) is making those crazy crayons by melting leftover crayon bitties into mini-muffin tins.

My kids love to make jewelry with beads and string.
My favorite kids craft this month has been the gold fish prize -the bag of soap with the fish in it.
Thank you for this fun month of crafts!

Ooops - I forgot to add in my favourites!

Favourite everyday crafting item: UHU - oh I get through so much of it!
Favourite kids craft project: pompom toys... kids love wrapping the wool and then sticking on bits of felt to make little creatures.

This month of kids crafts has been so much fun, I've enjoyed having a good look at all the different projects that people have made with/for their kids and I can't wait to nab one of my niece's so that I can have a go too!

favourite everyday craft item is paper...and my favourite kids' craft project is using eric carle-ish techniques to paint and create textures on papers and then make collages (I went to a great early childhood education workshop on this, and we do it at home all of the time.)

I've been collecting plastic bottle caps since my daughter was born after seeing a bottle cap curtain on flickr. Something like this http://www.flickr.com/photos/avlxyz/348228360/ only the one I first saw (and didn't save - doh!) was a lot simpler and very pretty. I'm looking forward to digging out all those bottle caps and making a colourful curtain when my daughter is a little bigger. I was thrilled to see the lid-man project on Whip Up this month, we'll be giving that a try too!

We love paint. Besides just using a brush, we get out cookie cutters to stamp with, toy cars and marbles to roll in it and grab other things (toilet paper tubes or apples) to make fun shapes.

my favorite everyday items (I have two) are ribbon and paper - I keep scraps of cute tags, bags, wrapping paper, etc.

My favorite project posted here was the kidlet wall pocket. I love, love, love wall pockets, and love organizing. Or at least trying to organize as many of the toys as I can.

As a children's librarian and craft enthusiast I am always looking for ideas and inspiration. Thanks for a wonderful month of postings--my favorite is the toilet paper roll bracelets--I have modified this project for my preschool storytime (glueing on bunny faces and cotton balls for a bunny bracelet).
