Spoonflower

An awesome idea, design and upload your own designs for printing onto fabric. Currently the site is in beta mode but you can register for an account and wait patiently for your invitation. This post has a video showing a how it all works. Link.

Spoonflower gives individuals the power to print their own designs on fabric that they can then use to make quilts, clothes, pillows, blankets, framed textile art and many, many other things that might surprise you.

You know, you already can get fabric printed for short runs or one offs. I’ve heard good things about First2Print, but if you google “fabric printing nyc” a bunch of other companies come up. It looks like preparing files for Spoonflower will be a little easier, though.
