I got the badge-a-minit starter kit w/ the hand press and I was getting like 3-4 good buttons out of every 10 I tried to make. I can only guess that the “bench press” versions work better. Good luck!

We got “The Amazing Button Machine” a purple plastic contraption at Hobby Lobby for our five year old who was very into buttons. I looked into something ‘better’, but they were just so expensive I didn’t think they’d get enough use to justify the purchase. That said, this has worked great for 100+ buttons and is simple enough for a barely-five-year-old to figure it out for herself, so you probably can too ;)

in the olden days we used the button forms that came at the fabric store and used a hammer- that always worked fine and was cheap, her tip to use sticker to the fabric would make it easier to keep from pulling though.

apparently you can use the machine at Keith and Lottie?
