Magazine submissions
Do you want to have your work featured in the inaugural issue of Art Quilt Studio – a new quarterly magazine which will hit newsstands June 1, 2009? Stampington challenge all art quilt enthusiasts to create an art quilt inspired by the excerpt above from the famous book The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupery. Stampington also have other new magazines coming out soon and are looking for submissions for Apron.ology, Green Craft and Stuffed.

The Little Prince quote goes like this: “One sees clearly only with the heart. Anything essential is invisible to the eyes.”.

I really loved this post. I’ve designed for books and am looking to get into magazines. I eventually found a huge list of challenges and submissions on the Stampington.com website. But couldn’t find one thing about pay. They DO pay the artists for tutorials and such?
