My friend Kate sent me a link to plasticbagbag.com which has a great pictorial essay on crocheting with plastic bags.

this looks amazigly funky, i want one.
I have started one of theses, but I am kniting mine, they are very strong, but really hard work it let the tension get too tight.
the display of the tutorial is great. It looks very easy to do. I often wonder what to do with a lot of my plastic wraps. thanks.
Just finished a knitted one of these about a week ago. Took much longer than I expected because of stopping to cut all of the strips but overall was fun and is resourceful. Friend have been requesting them- there are some being sold on Etsy but I prefer to do it myself.
so i checked out the website and the instuctions were really breife and unclear.
did i miss a page? does anyone want to be a doll and show me where the instructions are? this looks amazingly wicked. i work at a grocery store and see thousands of these bags get thrown out a day. literally.
i love the yellow bag but would like the actual pattern for it.
help!
does anybody know the approximate number of plastic bags required to make this bag?
Wow, what a unique project!
I’ve made a plarn bag before and they’re great fun and durable items. The downside is the estimating and then cutting the plarn, it can be very time consuming. Here is another pattern for a plarn bag. http://www.craftbits.com/project/recycled-plastic-bag-purse
