That is really cute, but people should be careful about putting their child’s name on their clothing – it makes it very easy for random perverts to pretend they know the kid and lure them to their deaths or worse.
That happened to me, I had my name on a middle school jacket. At a carnival, I had a ton of men calling my name trying to get me to come by them. Freaked me totally out!
Yeah, be careful never to address them by their name in public either, just in case those wierdos are listening. “Hey you” works well.
I use this same technique only I trace my letters onto the paper-backed webbing first, which is easier AND you can bunch the letters together in such a way as to save webbing and not have wasted space in between.
