I’ve always been so confused with the dots for cold, warm and hot water temperature. We (Sweden) use degrees, so what is 40 degrees C, cold or warm? It just doesn’t match up no matter how much I try, we usually wash at 30(86), 40(104), 60(140) or 95(203) degrees C(F). So whenever I’m in America I always was everything in cold, just to make sure I won’t ruin anything. Other than that the symbols are pretty much the same, the dry-clean symbols usually have a letter for the comical to be used inside the circle.

I did not realize there was a Soap and Detergent Association. I wonder if they are accepting new members? I have always been a great fan of soap in all its forms.
