Twist Collective – Knitting Webzine

There’s a newish kid on the knitting block, “Twist Collective”. Some heavy hitters are at the helm which will definitely ensure it’s success including Kate Gilbert, Julia Farwell-Clay, Mary Jackson and Irene Vandervoort. I’ve had a quick look through the patterns and there were quite a few garments I’d love to knit. Including “Jaali” by Alison Green Will, link, “Come Together” by Pam Allen, link and there’s a freebie by the queen of sock knitting, Cat Bordhi, “Houdini Socks”, link. So get on over and check it out. Link. Ravelry link.

Twist Collective is lovely, and I think it is a fantastic tool for the designers. The premier issue is fantastic, and the designs are quite frankly better than anything in the regular mags has been in a while. However, I would like to suggest that it more appropriately be called a catalog.
