The idea that something is "in" or "out" of fashion doesn't make sense to me. Trying to keep up w/up-to-the-minute fashions is nothing short of crazy-making. Fashion changes almost as fast as electronics. It took me awhile to learn these bits of wisdom. But once learned, I realized it isn't what's in, but what looks good on & displays something of who you really are, as opposed to the skin you temporarily inhabit... I like this project. It answers a question I've had: can I turn the clothes, now too big, into something that fits & how? Thanks!

I’ve found that the charm of such projects is in the “recycled” appearance. As in, way out of style right now. Everyone I know did this like 7 years ago, and I'm really surprised Whipup found it post-worthy. Plus, it doesn't look like a skirt, it looks like a pair of webbed jeans.

I’m sorry
I’m sorry
I’m sorry

But this is a dated project. Is there a quick/easy way to open the inner seams of the jeans? I've tryed several things, to no avail! I finally made them a "deal"...you open the seams, and I will sew you a skirt! I can sew two or three (...or eight..) in the time it takes me to open the seam by hand on one.Have a great day, K.

My girls love these skirts!
Is there a quick/easy way to open the inner seams of the jeans?
I’ve tryed several things, to no avail!
I finally made them a “deal”…you open the seams, and I will sew you
a skirt!
