We also play computer games together as a family some evenings. This involves us all hovering around the computer giving advice, cheering each other on - and taking turns at the controls. When the kids were small we played games various kids non-commercial websites. now they are older they like more of a challenge and we have found some of the games at miniclip.com to be excellent. There are hundreds of games on there - so use the navigation tools to go to puzzle games, adventure games, there is brain training education, but also some of the maze and sports games are excellent and all involve problem solving and co-ordination. here are some of our faves: http://www.miniclip.com/games/bloxorz/en/ http://www.miniclip.com/games/sushi-go-round/en/ http://www.miniclip.com/games/family-feud/en/ http://www.miniclip.com/games/motherload/en/have fun

while we are tv free – this doesn’t mean we are without digital stimuli! we do have computers (obviously) and watch the occasional dvd on them on the weekends.
