books: some visual inspiration
Occasionally I sent books that while they aren’t exactly crafty they are inspiring for anyone who has sense of the visual.
Beautiful little snippets into the lives of two women who live on opposite sides of the country. A collaboration in photos. Images from each of their mornings. A visual document daily life – and reminder to slow down and appreciate the simple beauty around us. A year of mornings online.
A Year of Mornings: 3191 Miles Apart A collaboration between Maria Alexandra Vettese and Stephanie Congdon Barnes. Published by Princeton Architectural Press; 1 edition (October 1, 2008).

A book of interiors – extremely eclectic way that some people decorate their homes. Crazy collections, bizarre antique and junk finds, colourful and mad and slightly dark all at the same time. The book takes you into the homes of various artists, creators, musicians and inventors – all unconventional and rather lavish – lots of creative energy to inspire.
To Each His Home: Inspired Interiors as Unique as Their Owners by Bilyana Dimitrova published by Princeton Architectural Press; 1 edition (September 3, 2008).
