Seems the year is now in full swing … and we are already thinking ahead to Valentines day … more on that next time. Summer in Australia has finally arrived and for those of us not near a beach we are sweltering. If you are home with bored kiddies, either in the heat or the cold – here are some fun kids activities to get their creative juices flowing. Late last year I made a print on demand photo album, with my favourite family snaps and kids drawings of the year. I wrote up a review of the process with inkubook here (included are photos of my ever growing kids.)
Nicole is back from her summer in bed – showing us some yummy studios – new years resolutions anyone? I would love to see some photos of your studios – if you would like your fabulous studio or craft nook featured please send in a fab photo to whipup[at]gmail.com. [do you need help organising - check it out]
There are some fabulous projects happening out in the world right now – the beckoning of lovely looks promising and this documentary about women who do it all looks very inspirational.
This week we have also featured some excellent tutorials – including all about fusible web and featured some quick knitting patterns – arm warmers and this cute scarf. We have had a contributor book review and this very adorable spider.
ps. don’t forget a whipup calendar.

great idea – if you are a fabric designer – make your own swatch book for marketing purposes – or if you just love to collect fabrics – why not make one for your own personal use?
