I tend to wear aprons to look like I am cooking (when things are really under control and I just need a break from the crowd) and when I am grooming my dogs – so the various combs, brushes and spray bottles are all within reach (gotta love the pockets).

2 Suzi April 8, 2009 at 6:30 am

:) What a funky apron!

Whilst wearing an apron I like to get messy doing printing or silk painting.. not something I have much space for in my current flat!

3 Viv April 8, 2009 at 6:41 am

I need this apron for wommaning the barricades during the next revolution in which we overthrow greed for good and establish an economic system based on swapping. It would contain all necessities – knitting, sewing kit, sandwich and my Iphone of course.

4 Valerie April 8, 2009 at 6:50 am

Gorgeous aprons!! The mixtures of fabrics are wonderful. Well, I love to make shortbread cookies, and kitty treats with my sweet niece when she comes to visit. And we both, (heehee, a ‘lil embarrassed to admit)like to twirl in the mirror and giggle, with our aprons on.

5 Betty Anne April 8, 2009 at 7:12 am

The two things I do wearing an apron: cook and eat!

6 laura April 8, 2009 at 7:18 am

for me, an apron means i’m baking thats when i tend to get my hands messiest.

7 Anne April 8, 2009 at 7:19 am

Lovely pattern – with my apron on I love to bake and then, of course, clean up!!

8 molly April 8, 2009 at 7:23 am

Cook and paint with my kids. Though this usually requires a full body apron — I’d definite

9 sarah April 8, 2009 at 7:25 am

what fun! nice apron!

10 Nanna April 8, 2009 at 7:41 am

Oh how pretty! I love to bake cookies and just feel pretty wearing my apron!

11 Leigh April 8, 2009 at 7:43 am

fun! I wear an apron while I cook and while I wash dishes.

12 Robin April 8, 2009 at 7:44 am

This pattern is so cool. I just started making aprons. I actually want to make a variety because my friend and I are opening a little boutique this month and we plan on wearing a different apron everyday while we are in the shop working. I also wear aprons at home while baking and crafting.

13 Carla April 8, 2009 at 7:54 am

I would cook in one- I know that is only one- but I guess I could also play waitress for the kids

14 Meagan April 8, 2009 at 8:03 am

Cute pattern! I bake and clean up while wearing aprons.

15 Patricia April 8, 2009 at 8:09 am

I like to wear aprons while spinning yarn on my spining wheel.
And I also like to wear an apron when I sit at the sewing machine. Aprons with pockets can hold my quilting tools like scissors or pencils and the ever useful Kleenex.
In the kitchen I like to dry my hands on an apron, besides of preventing to stain my clothes.
I love your stylish apron patterns.

16 Jessica April 8, 2009 at 8:10 am

Hmm, that’s a tough call. Probably baking would be the time I would enjoy this the most. Cooking dinner, perhaps, but baking is always a special occasion since it doesn’t happen every night.

17 Fancy Elastic April 8, 2009 at 8:20 am

I cook in my aprons, not always, but definitly when making pastry or gravy… messy food!

18 Melissa April 8, 2009 at 8:20 am

Bake chocolate chips cookies and then eat them!

19 Michelle April 8, 2009 at 8:20 am

Two things? Cooking dinner with a glass of wine. And, well, though I’ve yet to do it, I always say I’m going to wear mine out — as a fashion piece. They’re always just so cute and I think more than the chicken I’m cooking in my kitchen should get to see them. Right?!

20 Jenny Barnett Rohrs April 8, 2009 at 8:29 am

This seems obvious, but I craft in aprons. I always need quick access to my glue stick, retractable craft blade, and scissors in one pocket…and I tuck my iPod in the other. I also teach jewelry & polymer clay classes in aprons…but instead of the iPod, I tuck in my jewelry pliers, some band-aids, and packs of wipeys. Who couldn’t use a hip apron? Thanks for the giveaway, Jenny

21 Susan in Arkansas April 8, 2009 at 8:30 am

I love aprons, we actually call them “pinnies” and my favorite one is a clothespin pinnie, the front has a big pocket with 2 scooped openings so when hanging laundry, it’s easy to get to the clothespins. So that’s my favorite thing to do in a pinnie, hang out. lol The other thing is cook for company, that’s when my good clothes need protecting. My mom is always in one, she loves the pockets.

I discovered your blog just a few days ago after seeing your aprons on flickr. VERY nice!

22 Marlana April 8, 2009 at 8:51 am

I love to wear aprons when I cook and bake but mostly during the holiday season. It helps make it feel more festive. Nice contest!

23 Wendy April 8, 2009 at 9:07 am

For an apron like that, I’d have to say hand-rolling noodles and making truffles (lots of wiping of hands on the apron). This one’s adorable.

But I need a full on, sleeved one for cooking hot grease. No one has made a cute version of that as far as I know.

24 Marcijo April 8, 2009 at 9:10 am

For me its baking or doing dishes for my daughter its baking or painting.

25 Netter April 8, 2009 at 9:18 am

I like to make breakfast with my son, me in my blue apron him in his orange. I also like to wear a high apron when I’m eating, to keep my clothes clean!

26 Courtney April 8, 2009 at 9:23 am

Love this apron!
I enjoy wearing aprons while I’m getting ready for a dinner party and when I’m hanging out with friends.

27 shelle April 8, 2009 at 9:25 am

Cute apron pattern!

I wear my Lola apron in the kitchen, I have a simple half apron for gardening and another for cleaning. I have worn my to my sons school for volunteering as well and discovered a few more apron loving moms!

28 Vonda April 8, 2009 at 9:32 am

What great aprons. They would such a great domestic goddess uniform. Wearing cute aprons always makes you look like you know what you’re doing even when dinner is burning and the kids are sick. A must have for every woman.

29 missweb April 8, 2009 at 9:33 am

An apron is a must when I’m canning and jamming. I also always wear one to cook dinner. Aprons like this look cute and sassy! Everyone likes to feel cute and sassy, even when their just cooking dinner! Thanks for the giveaway!

30 Maggie April 8, 2009 at 9:35 am

As boring as it may be, I wear aprons while cooking since I am very messy (just as my husband). I can never seem to keep food off of my clothes. Having one of these would make me want to wear it all the time and I could feel like a better homemaker than I actually am!

31 Lisha April 8, 2009 at 9:56 am

I plan on using while I’m painting, and crafting (doing what I can to avoid actually cooking)

32 Leslie April 8, 2009 at 9:56 am

Ooh! I covet that apron! Naughty me! I can’t cook, so wearing it to look quite while making dinner is out . . . but I do love to bake and am quite messy at that. So, I’d definitely wear it for that. (And I’d probably try to remain neater, so I didn’t get it all flour-y and messy!) I’d also wear it while crafting or scrapbooking . . . or if I just wanted to look extra cute for whatever reason!

33 cara April 8, 2009 at 10:00 am

i wear aprons while baking and while cooking on holidays also when i’m doing heavy cleaning. love this pattern and the colors!

34 bFlat April 8, 2009 at 10:03 am

I would love to bake desserts and make delicious dinners. What adorable aprons!

35 Beth Walker April 8, 2009 at 10:08 am

I enjoy wearing my apron whilst cooking messy southern foods. I get so tired of laundering grease stains. It also comes in super handy when I’m cleaning house. I like to use it as a big dangly rag because I can’t stand having goop on my hands.

36 Becky April 8, 2009 at 10:16 am

Love the aprons!
I would wear one while making cookies with my grandchildren, they love to cook with grandma. I would also wear this cute apron just for fun, and maybe my husband will want to play in the kitchen with me!

37 Katie April 8, 2009 at 10:20 am

I’m 8 months pregnant and lately I’ve been wearing an apron to wash the dishes because I can’t seem to come away from the sink without a dripping wet shirt. I also tend to get flour everywhere when baking, so an apron keeps me dust free.

38 towhee April 8, 2009 at 10:21 am

Wearing an apron is a daily ritual for making dinner. It just wouldn’t occur to me to not wear one. But if I’m baking during the day or cooking all day long for a holiday meal that apron stays on for many hours. Last Christmas I asked everyone to go outside for a family photo in the unusually deep snow and set my camera on a tripod so I could be in the photo too. I didn’t bother taking off my apron for the photo, it was who I was on Christmas–an apron wearer.

39 Morgan April 8, 2009 at 10:25 am

I like to wear a cute apron cleaning the house, just to feel pretty when things get disgusting. And when I bake with the kids, just for fun!

40 Hanna April 8, 2009 at 10:26 am

Wearing an apron puts me in a “bread-baking mood”. It makes me feel like a legit baker! Also, whenever we have guests over, I let them choose an apron and where it while in the kitchen getting food ready…even if they don’t help much…just to lighten up the conversation. It works!

41 Yvonne April 8, 2009 at 10:40 am

I wear an apron while baking with my 4 year old daughter. It’s not necessarily for me. She likes to wipe her hands on it even though she has one on herself. Haven’t quite figured that one out yet. Maybe she just doesn’t want to get hers dirty.

42 RisaJ April 8, 2009 at 10:42 am

I love aprons. They make me feel like I’m really cooking or something (please note, I’m not the main cook in my house). The pattern is really cool!!

43 Tara April 8, 2009 at 10:48 am

oo what a different apron! I tend to don an apron while i cook – especially when there’s more than just me in the kitchen so i can force everyone else into an apron too! That and crafty days – especially when things like brusho come out to play.

44 sherri s. April 8, 2009 at 10:51 am

Sweet aprons! Aprons should be worn when baking bread and cookies (flying flour) and I think they’re sweet to be wearing when guests arrive for dinner…they tell them “I’ve been in the kitchen, working to make something we’ll all share.” Thanks for the giveaway.

45 Michelle April 8, 2009 at 10:56 am

I love to cook in my apron, but my favorite recipe is making my family’s handed down tomato sauce and meatball recipe. I also do dishes while wearing an apron because I usually make a mess! Cool contest. Thanks.

46 marisa April 8, 2009 at 10:59 am

Definitely wear an apron while cooking, and, more recently, while I feed my 10 month old son – food seems to fly everywhere!

47 Alison K April 8, 2009 at 11:09 am

I simply love aprons. One thing I like to do when wearing an apron is when I am baking, or doing dishes, or cooking dinner, or mopping. There is nothing better than flouncing around the kitchen in an apron. Another thing I like to do while wearing an apron is knitting. It’s just so handy to put my needles, yarn, stitch markers, etc., in my apron, and if I want to go to another room or need to check up on laundry, it all comes with me.

48 Chloe Bordages April 8, 2009 at 11:22 am

I like to wear aprons when I’m cleaning the apartment, b/c with roommates, there’s no telling what kind of stuff you might get on your clothes. I also wear them when I’m baking, frying, or cooking with any kind of red sauces.

49 méri April 8, 2009 at 11:24 am

What I like best to do while wearing an apron is baking (bread or cakes) and painting with my grand-daughters!

50 tina April 8, 2009 at 11:28 am

Baking, and I also wear an apron while I’m printing.

51 Kate April 8, 2009 at 11:35 am

I would be hosting a dinner party with a few of my closets friends and enjoying the fruits of my cooking labour. (In my dreams):-)

52 Jessica Sadlier April 8, 2009 at 11:45 am

Great pattern! I like to wear an apron when baking and also if I’m having casual company over and want to feel and look “hostessy” :o)

53 Brassy Apple April 8, 2009 at 11:47 am

Hello! wow! thanks for the great response so far! I love reading all your entries! :)

Just a quick side note – I do ship internationally if you’d like to pick one up! Just choose the international shipping option on your cart :)

thanks!! good luck!

54 Sandra :) April 8, 2009 at 11:51 am

I usually throw an apron on when I’m cooking, but I’ve also been known to throw one on when I greet hubby at the front door after work – I assume he’ll assume I’ve been busy cooking and cleaning all day, when in reality, I may have spent a great deal of the day playing on the computer and talking on the phone :D

55 Maria April 8, 2009 at 11:53 am

I like to cook wearing an apron and of course, while I’m painting! Even then, I manage to get oil paints all over me! ;)

56 sharon April 8, 2009 at 12:18 pm

I have never worn an apron.
but, since my clothes are usually marked by my cooking endeavor , I should seriously consider, making than wearing one

57 Kim April 8, 2009 at 1:01 pm

Cooking (especially baking as I’m messy) and washing the dishes…our sink is wonky and I often end up getting wetter than the dishes I’m washing…lovely patterns!

58 Natalie April 8, 2009 at 1:09 pm

Sweet aprons!

I wear mine while eating bons bons and watching Oprah. I like to think of my life as an episode of I Love Lucy. There will be aprons and there will be high jinks!

59 Michelle April 8, 2009 at 1:22 pm

I would wear it as a sassy fashion statement!

60 MelodyJ April 8, 2009 at 1:46 pm

I like to wear and an apron when cooking and baking. I also like them when craft painting.

61 Stitchminx April 8, 2009 at 1:48 pm

My favourite things to do in a Haute Couture apron would be 1. some delicously hot cooking! Less spills of course. and 2. delightful baking of tea cakes to impress my friends with!

I may make a mess in the kitchen, but I’d look so elegant in a New Apron!

Thanks for letting me enter. Rgds, Stitchminx

62 Lindsey April 8, 2009 at 1:54 pm

I love this haute apron! I enjoy cooking and hosting dinner parties in beautiful aprons. It makes me feel so classy and sassy!

63 craftytammie April 8, 2009 at 2:36 pm

beautiful aprons! I wear aprons when I am decorating cakes and found an odd use for one recently – I wore a heavy full length apron I’ve never cared much for while I was cutting ceramic tile – the wet saw throws back a lot of spray!

64 Maggie April 8, 2009 at 2:40 pm

Love the aprons. I like to do the dishes in an apron then I like to dance around the kitchen pretending to be June Cleaver. You should see me twirl.

Thanks for hosting this amazing giveaway.

65 Jude April 8, 2009 at 2:54 pm

Love those aprons. I don’t wear aprons, I just make them for other people! What I would like to do whilst wearing the haute hostess apron is recline on the divan and eat bon bons.

Thank you!

66 maria April 8, 2009 at 3:02 pm

I use aprons when I make “empanadas”

67 Shanna April 8, 2009 at 3:08 pm

Hmm, that would be bake desserts, have a cocktail and more baking.

68 Em... April 8, 2009 at 5:09 pm

Making cupcakes and trying to give my cat a bath (the latter of which makes the most mess).

69 Caroline April 8, 2009 at 5:27 pm

1) I like to bake/cook/clean while wearing an apron…. Boring, I know. If we’re being specific, I like to wear an apron to make pizza, which involves flour coating every available surface (especially decent clothes).

2) I like to glare at people while wearing an apron. Let me explain. I usually bake / cook to relax from the day (as well as to make food, of course), and while doing so it is a normal occurrence for EVERY member of my family to walk through the kitchen, move the salt to a different counter, peer over my shoulder, open the oven door mid-baking, hang out and complain about their days, etc. etc. when I just want to be alone with my food. Let me tell you, dusting one’s hands on an apron perfunctorily while icily assessing the intruder makes one a formidable figure.

So, those are my two. VERY cute apron; thanks (as ever) for the giveaway!

70 CCherry April 8, 2009 at 5:36 pm

Only two? I have different aprons that are hanging around the house for different purposes. There is a X backed smock apron in the kitchen that’s great for drying hands on and protecting clothes. The craft room has a cobbler’s apron with pockets for holding bits and catching stray paint and goo. The clothes pin apron hangs by the back door. The gardening apron is sturdier to hold up to small shovels and pruners. But my favorite apron is one that my grandmother always wore, it is hanging next to my cookbooks. It doesn’t get worn anymore but it does its job of keeping warm memories alive.

71 Louby Lou April 8, 2009 at 5:38 pm

While wearing this apron I would strut around the kitchen in a very Nigella, Domestic Goddess manner, while whipping up lots of yummy treats with minimum effort. Later, I’d trip down to the local farmer’s market complete with Cath Kidston floral wellies, headscarf and chunky handknitted sweater to buy artisan breads, local organic veggies and homemade chuntney from the WI for the first picnic of what will hopefully be a long, warm spring.

72 Jeni April 8, 2009 at 7:01 pm

I am in need of a super cute apron for my little cake baking business my friend and I just started. When we deliver cakes I would love to show up in on of those cute aprons. Hey I think it would make my cakes look even better :) thanks for the chance to win!

73 edina April 8, 2009 at 7:29 pm

Great apron! I cook/bake and craft in my aprons.

74 Darlene April 8, 2009 at 7:58 pm

Two things I do in my aprons? I gather eggs from my little chicken farm in the city, tucking the soft brown and blue eggs into the deep pockets of my apron. I also hang my laundry on the line, wearing my frilly apron over a summer skirt and cowgirl boots!

75 Aimee April 8, 2009 at 9:05 pm

So Fun! Well, since I am trying to make a 2 month meal plan for my family, I’m trying out all sorts of recipes to find our favorites. My little toddler loves to help and that means we have lots of messes! I love wearing an apron during our fun around the house….for some reason it gives me some kitchen confidence :)

76 Nas April 8, 2009 at 9:33 pm

Well this is easy! In my apron I like to bake… and then eat my baking! It all happens so fast there’s really no time or need to take off my apron :)

77 Jenny April 8, 2009 at 9:37 pm

I wear my apron most of the day nearly everyday. My 2 favorite things to do while in my apron are making breakfast, and crafts with the kids. Aprons are awesome!

78 KRS April 8, 2009 at 9:45 pm

I do not usually wear an apron, but upon seeing these, I’m definitely reconsidering!

79 Amanda H. April 8, 2009 at 10:13 pm

What pretty aprons. I would bake bread and make brownies with my apron.

80 stacy April 8, 2009 at 10:46 pm

I have to wear an apron when I’m cooking – I’m just too messy, but I always think an apron looks fun when you’re having a party – I feel like June Cleaver!

81 Sara April 8, 2009 at 11:34 pm

I should wear an apron when I eat. I’m always dropping food on my clothes!

82 Jess April 9, 2009 at 12:25 am

This is so cute! I like to wear old dingy aprons when scrubbing toilets (i have 2 boys) and bright sunny new aprons when baking.

83 Beth April 9, 2009 at 4:38 am

Gorgeous pinnies!
I wear mine when I’m hanging out the washing on the line and when I’m baking flapjacks.

84 Isobel April 9, 2009 at 5:48 am

These are gorgeous. I have a really horrible old school apron that I use when I’m fixing my bike – the pocket is ideal for keep tools to hand and not losing crucial tiny bits of metal, and a much nicer one for cooking, particularly when flour is involved – it gets everywhere!

85 Kate April 9, 2009 at 6:14 am

I wear a full front apron when I am splashing around with dye, and my kitchen apron when I am cooking. My hands and face and sometimes back get covered with muck, but my front stays clean :)

86 Kim April 9, 2009 at 7:01 am

Making cookies with my little girl

make my husband happy because I make the most wonderfull cookies with her

87 Kelley April 9, 2009 at 7:42 am

Gorgeous aprons!!!! I always wear an apron when baking (that flour just ends up everywhere!) and I like to wear an apron while working on projects in my craft room…the pockets are good for holding goodies & I feel like a true “artist” when I walk in and reach for my apron!

88 natalia April 9, 2009 at 9:24 am

I always wear aprons when painting/working with glue, etc. and for baking! :)

89 Katrine April 9, 2009 at 10:50 am

Pretty, pretty apron! I wear my apron when I clean the kitchen. I also like to wear the apron when I am dressed to go somewhere. It protects my clothing from my messy 2 year old!

90 Kim April 9, 2009 at 11:49 am

I like to wear an apron while sewing, I keep my tools in it. I also wear it when I cook. Really I wear it all day, makes me feel much more domestic ;)

91 Kate April 9, 2009 at 12:37 pm

I always wear an apron when I make bread, otherwise I ended up with my jeans crusted with dough and flour from absentmindedly wiping my hands.

92 Rosa April 9, 2009 at 12:55 pm

I like to tie my hair up in a gingham ‘kerchief like the good old housewifes and then I either bake or I just sit around the house pretending to be from the 1950s and wishing I was…

93 Theresa N April 9, 2009 at 1:06 pm

I’d wear it to cook of course. Then there’s that other thing, you know when I start channeling June Cleaver.

94 Alana April 9, 2009 at 1:31 pm

While wearing this apron of +5 awesome I would make a dinner from my grandma aka mom #2 so she would be able to see my girlie “Susie home-maker” side, and I’d wear it while bathing our (fiance and I) pet hedgehogs so the pockets could hold a container of meal worms for treats.

95 Andrea M. April 9, 2009 at 2:24 pm

Such cute aprons! I also wear mine while sewing, to hold my scissors, seam gauge, etc. I also wear it while baking. When I want to be especially sassy, I wear an apron to PTA fundraisers!

96 Christina April 9, 2009 at 2:35 pm

What beautiful aprons!
I just love wearing aprons:) I wear them to cook, to craft and to garden… My current gardening apron is waterproof and has daisies on it. I’m at this very moment wearing a vintage over-the-dress red apron for cooking and I wear a jeans apron with ruffles (used to be proper jeans-trousers) for sewing (made by moi;)

97 LeAnn B April 9, 2009 at 2:36 pm

I wear my apron when cooking or making soap mainly, but sometimes it’s fun to wear only my apron (nothing else) and do some household chores when hubby comes home from work. It gets his attention! ;)

98 Aimey April 9, 2009 at 2:45 pm

I like to wear an apron when I’m sewing, with pockets for scissors, pens, measuring tape, etc. and also when I am doing things with our Girl Scout troop. As a matter of fact, the girls are having an afternoon of baking next weekend and I’ve make each girl her own apron (all 16 of them!)

99 Nichole Gould April 9, 2009 at 2:58 pm

What a beautiful apron! I love to wear them when I clean shrimp, garden and cook. Not very exciting?
I love a simple life full of grandchildren, crafting, cooking and gardening. It is wonderful to live in the U.S.

100 Sarah C. April 9, 2009 at 4:51 pm

I wear aprons when I cook or do crafts/paint usually… I love aprons! They can be so cute, and the ones from Brassy Apple are awesome.

101 patricia April 9, 2009 at 5:06 pm

i ate messy pasta the other night wearing my apron and today i wore it baking italian cookies for easter…all of my aprons are vintage — the ones i’ve made i’ve given away to some favorite farmer’s market vendors…

102 Nicole G April 9, 2009 at 5:25 pm

I Don’t think I’ve EVER worn an apron in my life… but I imagine if I did decide to wear one I would be baking some pretty yummy pink cupcakes! And #2 I would wear the apron and the apron only for my boyfriend! Chow!!!

103 tammi April 9, 2009 at 7:45 pm

Two things I like to do while wearing an apron? Craft and Cook, of course!

104 Carrie S. April 9, 2009 at 8:21 pm

Irresistible! My favorite thing to do while wearing an apron is bake – I never met a dessert I didn’t like. My least favorite thing to do while wearing an apron is wash the dishes, especially when my 2-year-old or 5-year-old is assisting.

105 Carrie S. April 9, 2009 at 8:23 pm

Correction: What I meant to say was my least favorite thing to do while wearing an apron is wash the dishes, but I need it especially when my 2-year-old or 5-year-old is assisting. Didn’t want to sound like I didn’t appreciate their help!

106 andrea April 9, 2009 at 10:09 pm

I like to wear an apron while baking cookies and while doing my craft shows.Sometimes both at the same time:)

107 Jennifer April 9, 2009 at 10:13 pm

I LOVE aprons and consider them wonderful fashion accessories. I like to make cute ones with pockets to wear around town over jeans. When I cook, I wear an old boring apron because I don’t want to ruin my nice ones. Today, I wore a handmade apron all day. There’s something about a great apron that make me very happy. I don’t just cook in aprons, I LIVE in them!

108 catsmum April 10, 2009 at 12:46 am

I rarely remember to put one one for cooking so I’d have to answer that my FAVOURITE things to do while wearing an apron are all fibre related: making silk paper, fabric printing, shibori dyeing and so on

109 TerryF April 10, 2009 at 1:01 am

Aprons are great to wear when cooking, of course, but also when crafting to keep your clothes safe from glue, paints, etc.

110 Meredith April 10, 2009 at 1:58 am

Wow! Really cool looking aprons. I have a few and always pick and choose which would be most appropriate for the mood i’m in. I can see myself just sitting at the kitchen table sipping coffee wearing this apron.

111 Kori April 10, 2009 at 9:49 am

I love to wear fun & sassy aprons when I cook & bake, and also just while doing household chores… makes me feel a little bit like Donna Reed :-)

112 Anary April 10, 2009 at 10:23 am

I will hang around town!

113 Traci S. April 10, 2009 at 11:14 am

Love those aprons. I am wish I had one for every day of the week!

I need an apron when I am at the stove because I am a messy cook. I also like to wear an apron when I’m in the mood to paint.

Wearing the aprons I already have, I guess I just cook with them…But if I was wearing THIS apron, well, the possibilities are endless….lets just say that my boyfriend loves it when I wear patchwork. :)

When I put on one of my aprons I am transformed into the Queen of all I survey. ;) I like to bake from scratch. My apron keeps me clean(er.) While the cake is baking I wander to the garden to gather veggies. Apron pockets are perfect for fresh cut herbs or little Roma Tomatoes.

Thanks for the fun contest! I wear aprons when I cook spaghetti and tacos for sure!

The aprons are fun and fabulous. I wear aprons when i cook and when i bake ( honestly i would rather make you a new coat than bake) Anyway… aprons are also useful when painting, creating… glueing… modpodging… on and on and on….

The apron is so cute!

While wearing an apron I like to dance around the kitchen and take cute 50s style pictures :)

I love wearing aprons while I cook and I can’t resist keeping them on while I eat :)

Love the aprons!!

One thing for sure is not cook!!! Hate to cook. Hmm, probably sew or hang it up for looks in my kitchen!

I love this apron! How pretty!

Not only do I wear and apron while cooking, I also wear an apron that has a ton of pockets while I scrapbook because I have a tendency to spread all of my accoutrements over the entire table top, so keeping the essentials handy and not hidden is key.

Cute aprons! I like to cook and sing in my apron – usually at the same time!

I will dream of cooking wonderful dishes for my family and probably do some crafting since I am not much of a cook!

I wear an apron everyday to cook and clean up around the kitchen. When I put it on, it is a signal to my brain, that I am getting down to business and preparing the meal for the day.

I love to wear a very groovy apron to dish up dinner to very special people and then for them to ask me all about it

I like to bake and do messy craft with my daughter in an apron. This one is particularly beautiful.

I always wear an apron when I am baking and crafting. The pockets are great for holding my cellphone and ipod, scissors, and any little thing that might be misplaced.

Love aprons, have some of my grandmother and wear them often. Have a lovely daughter-in-law that loves them too. She is a very special person to me, the best daughter-in-law ever … if I won, I’d give the apron to her!

I wear an apron pretty much every minute I am in the kitchen because I am a klutz! So cooking and washing dishes are the primary activities for apron wearing. Then when dinner is done I tend to leave my apron on when I sit down to eat (klutz, remember?) to catch anything my napkin misses!
Very cute pattern, thanks for the contest!

I love, love, love aprons and have assorted styles each suitable to the task at hand…cooking, baking…crafting…and of course hostessing. I love that this is named the “Haute Hostess” apron, because that is just what I though of when I first saw this stylish little number. I think it would be perfect for hostessing a spring or summer brunch. I also bake custom wedding and celebration cakes and this would be the perfect delivery apron.

Fun aprons!

Two things I like to do in my aprons? Hmm, have a glass of wine and make my family dinner. :)

135 qc April 11, 2009 at 5:12 pm

An apron is like a comfortable and pretty tool belt. Putting one on always helps me feel “ready” for whatever I’m about to do. The two most common things I do while wearing an apron would be crafting and gardening.

I would give the apron to one of my daughters, who collects and wears them. She loves the 30s era and even had the 30s as her wedding theme. She’s a teacher but has taken time off to have her first child and is enjoying being a domestic goddess and mother. She is an excellent seamstress and makes her daughter’s diapers and her own vintage clothing. I can just see her wearing one of these aprons as she whips up a meal in her kitchen!

I would wear this apron out over jeans, or at home while I bake — especially when I’m making and serving my cinnamon rolls. Yummy.
