This past week has been a busy one for me at work – and at home. Lots of sewing and cleaning! but my new handmade soap and handmade cleaning products obsession has made this task a whole lot more fun. Here is a great tutorial on basic homemade vegetable soap – and lots of tips on cleaning products. I am also going to be at some local craft/art events – over the weekend – info here and here. We have had so much at whipup this past week and apologies for my day late round up.

Knitting focus: baby bombay sweater (so so cute): perfect sweater : fog sweater (I love this one): Mrs Darcy Cardigan : pretty lace top: seamless cable sweater: most adorable baby sweater: shalom cardigan.

A few good books: the boy magician : it girl knits: mason dixon knitting.

Kids clothes: shirt dress transformation : kids crossover top:girly dress: sunny dress.

Thank you to our contributor writers this week for these two great stories on bottle top art and recycled designer clothing.

Jewelry: make a credit card bracelet: make a quilted pendant: anklet.

Fun and frivolous (just because): origami basket: icecream cones cosy: swatch frog: freezer paper stencils: wrist watch pincushion: girls purse tutorial.

Thanks for reading and happy crafting weekend!
