OOh, I love needle felting–made super cute Halloween pumpkins last fall. I’m a rank beginner, but it was fun!
May 19th, 2009 at 9:11 pm
How gorgeous! I’d love to give it a go!!
May 19th, 2009 at 9:14 pm
My very first and only felting was a bead for a necklace that was gonna be a mothers day gift. My fifth grade teacher showed us how to do it. I would love to relearn and do more!
May 19th, 2009 at 9:42 pm
I made beads before for a project in school but I failed. Miserably. :*(
May 19th, 2009 at 9:54 pm
I’ve only just started felting so I made beads but I love the way they came out and hope to do more!
May 19th, 2009 at 9:58 pm
I knit and felted a tote bag that I’ve used for all kinds of toting – mostly papers for work. It’s aqua, teal and a soft yelow-green and I love it. The book looks very inspirational. Please count me in for the give away.

How cool is this!! I’ll have to squeeze a few extra hours out of the day so I can go play with fiber and water, it just look so fun!
My favorite felted item(s) that I have made are slippers. I even made myself two identical pairs so that I’d always have a backup (or replacement) pair if necessary.
May 20th, 2009 at 4:48 am
I knit and felted a pair of slipper/boots. And embellished it with a needle-felted little owl. They are so warm and comfy and if I do say so myself, so cute too! I’m quite glad I chose them for a project for myself. That book looks awesome….great earrings.

Nothing beats felted slippers for the winter – we’re just getting colder here in New Zealand and it’s jsut the ticket! I have already worn out my first pair. Not really creative or different, but needed! :)

My very best felt project, was when I made felt ball birds with toddlers in the day nursery I worked at. Those little children were so excited about the whole process of forming the birds with soap and water. Later on we phtographed the beautiful birds. And when it was all done, we had a little reception for the parents…

I went through a big felted bag phase. I love mixing in some novelty yarn to change the way it felted. Hm. I should get back to that, I think.

I love the necklace on the cover! I’ve never made anything from felt before.
May 20th, 2009 at 10:47 am
