It is very hard to pick favorite lyrics or lines!

I just read The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde, and the preface is wonderful. My favorite lines from that are:

“Those who find ugly meanings in beautiful things are corrupt without being charming. This is a fault.
Those who find beautiful meanings in beautiful things are the cultivated. For these there is hope.
They are the elect who whom beautiful things mean only Beauty.”

I like these lyrics because so many of us have this sort of past/childhood that is defined by the shows we watched and the music we listened to more than the people we knew or the things we did. It’s sad in a way.
