I am knitting a “Hobbes” pattern adaption by Ann Stiver-Balla which seems to be missing knitting directions for the arms although attaching the arms is mentioned in the finishing directions. I can not find the pattern on the website. Is it still available?
I like the fingerless gloves a lot and those socks are funky! I recently became a big fan of http://www.fiddleknits.com . She also has some cool free patterns on revelry at http://www.ravelry.com/designers/Erica-Jackofsky-Fiddle-Knits.
I have two skeins of Claudia Hand Painted Yarns, Boucle, 78% Mohair 13% wool 9% nylon. Each skein has 216 yds/approx.100 grams. I will be a passenger in a car for an 11 hour trip tomorrow leaving tomorrow morning. I have no idea what I can make with this, but I really need a project for the trip. Is it enough for a vest? If not a cowl? Most cowl patterns I have seen are very bulky, but this yarn is definately not bulky. Any free downloadable pattern ideas? Many thanks for any help. Paula
I am making the Classic Cable sweater on page 62 of Top Down for Toddlers. Everything is fine until I get to the end of the Marker Round where it says to knit 14 stitches for the sleeve making 108 stitches. I have 108 stitches but with respect to the marker there are not 14 stitches left. Has anyone had a problem with these directions?
you should get in touch with the designer directly. best of luck
