I like to go to this one thrift shop where I live. They get in shipments of old/worn out/tattered kimonos and I salvage the fabric. Its great!

I’ve never used japanese print fabric before, but I’d love to!

I think there are many Japanese novelty fabrics perfect for little boy quilts, with 5 grandsons I’m always looking for bright, happy “boy” fabrics. They tend to be hard to find in American fabrics, they are mostly sports or automobile related.

I would love to have a bit of lots of the novelty fabrics to make “I Spy” quilts.
