in Features, Newsletter

Thank you all for tuning in again this week. Looks like my craft room project has been put back another week as Rob is taking the kids away for the weekend. Not that I mind – a weekend to myself is quite a luxury! However I do have a little bit of exciting news – I have a book coming out early next year with Chronicle. Its a quilt book with some wonderful contributors – it has been rather a long process and a huge learning curve for me. The whole book publishing world is incredible. More about the book soon – but just for you special people who read this newsletter – a sneak peek.

Knit … great free sock pattern… and this light sweater pattern looks delicious.

Sew … join the sew along sampler … love this stylish scrap fabric necklace … a bit more refashioning with this summer tunic

for the wee ones … this is such a dreamy tutu to make … I love this little red riding hood stuffed doll … make some felt stuffed alphabet magnets

Congratulations on the Chronicle contract! Yay!!! Hard won. Book publishing definitely has a steep learn curve, but it will be a joy to see your work on the shelves. You have a great eye for craft.
