October 2009

School holidays and my kids have gone to spend 10 days with their grandparents. It is strangely quiet and tidy around here – can’t believe how much energy I seem to have and how motivated I am to make and do. Have spent the better part of the morning tidying my craft room and donating unused fabric and magazines to charity.

Check out Red Cordial Revolution – book reviews and other stuff for kids – I wrote a review for 101 you can save the planet before you are 12.

Some sad news with the Pacific Islands Tsunami – my heart goes out to families who have lost loved ones.

Did you manage to see … the Japanese fabric and craft supplies giveaway we have going – just a little while left to enter … we have a halloween crafts roundup … and we did another refashion roundup

LOVE LOVE LOVE this. Love the recycled leather and the printed buttons. Inspired by Sister Diane’s book “Kanzashi in Bloom“. AWESOME. Link to tutorial via Sister D’s tweets.
